One of the largest selections of fish and aquarium supplies in Southern California. Its also massively overpriced. They were selling ghost shrimp, that generally go for .39 cents each at Petsmart for $3 each! They're generally between 30-50% higher priced than other fish suppliers on items such as aquariums. But if money isn't an obstacle this place probably has what you need. Very disappointed in freshwater plant selection. For a place this size they are lacking in this department. Global Aquatics has the potential of being the best in So Cal if they can get their pricing sorted out.
Cool place to just look. Prices are way too high. Water looks doesn't appear to be clean. They have monster red tail cats. Large selection of fresh and salt water.
Great selection of freshwater and saltwater fish, plants and aquatic supplies. The owner is very personable and has a vast knowledge of aquatics. Animals are in great health. Also they have koi and red ear sliders. They carry a small selection of reptile supplies as well.
I have purchased from global aquatics several times, this place is huge with a great selection of fish both freshwater and saltwater. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good selection of items. They also carry a great selection of equipment and accessories. Prices are fair and about average to most fish stores I have been to. If you have a saltwater tank/reef tank do not use their water. Their freshwater they are selling is basically filtered tap water. I ran a TDS meter and their freshwater had 220ppm, my tap at home was 240. I had a huge algae breakout and lost a lot of coral because the owner got complacent with their filter changes.
This is a great store! I really recommend if you go! They have a huge variety of Freshwater and saltwater fish! All of my fish that I have bought are from here. It's better than petsmart because all of my fish from Pestart tend to die and are already sick. The prices I would say are good. Some are reasonable prices I would say. They also have fish food, decorations, tubing, tubing supplies, driftwood, replacement glass, tanks, ect! I like that the workers will ask you questions before your actually getting the fish so they know the fish are going to be in a proper tank. Some of the fish tanks were a litte over crowded but other than that it's fine. Also they have huuuge catfish there and it's awesome. Downhill, some of the fish's tanks were a little dirty but they clearly do try to take care of their fish. Otherwise this place is awesome!
